We offer a wide variety of instructional programs to suit your needs. From private lessons, to lesson packages, to golf camps, to schools, T's Golf Academy has the program that will best suit your needs and get you results quickly. All of our instructors are Hank Haney trained and certified. The golf instruction methodology our instructors follow focuses on the flight of the golf ball and the golfer's influence which causes that flight. Through this method, students see near instantaneous ball flight improvement and continuous gains in their confidence and control of their golf swings. About Our Practice Facility At T's Golf Academy What Is A Practice Facility? A golf practice facility is any area designed to help golfers improve. Many top courses and golf resorts around the world include practice facilities as one of their many amenities. Top amateur and professional golfers work every day at practice facilities to improve their games and give them the competitive edge they're looking for. What Makes T's Golf Practice Facility Special? T's has made the commitment to provide a world class practice facility right here in central Maine. We strive every day to provide everything necessary for golfers to improve. From the quality of the range balls we provide for our customers, to our short game situational practice area, we want your experience to represent what you expect to help you improve every aspect of your game. For a more detailed description of what we offer, see below. Driving Range Our practice range is 150 yards wide and over 300 yards long so you have plenty of room to hit every club in the bag. There are several covered tees for use in inclement weather so you never have to put your practice or lessons on hold due to mother nature. There are ample targets in the range at varying distances so you can work on your distance control, which is so key to playing better golf. All of our targets are measured by laser and are available on GPS via SkyCaddie and each hitting bay has a placard with the laser-measured distances to each and every target. You'll never have to ask yourself, "how far is that flag?" If you're looking for a place that you can seriously work on your full swing to include every shot that you might face on the golf course, our range is that place. Putting Green T's Golf Academy is proud to offer a 1500 square foot, top of the line, synthetic putting green. Why synthetic? The material we used putts exactly like a real green, but because it's synthetic it's exactly the same every time you putt on it. This makes it very reliable when it comes to working on your technical putting stroke. There are 5 holes, some set with subtle breaks to challenge your green reading and there is ample room to work on your speed control and lag putting. Just about every hole of golf you play is going to end with a putt, so improving this aspect of your game is crucial to playing your best golf. Use of our putting green is complementary to any paying customer, so save some time to work on saving some strokes on the green. Short Game Situational Area Every instructor will tell
you that the majority of your shots in golf will be played from 100
yards and in. Chipping, pitching, bunker shots, and all of those strokes
around the green can literally make or break your round. The problem
is, simply chipping around the putting green at your local club doesn't
simulate all the situations you might find on the course. T's Golf Academy
has the solution. Our short game situational area was designed to present
the golfers with the opportunity to practice all those situations you
will find on the course around the greens. There are five target greens
with the opportunity to practice approach shots from as far away as
150 yards. Around the target greens you will find a variety of lies
and grass lengths as well as sand so that you can practice all of those
short shots that cost you strokes. Ask one of our Hank Haney trained
and certified instructors and they will tell you that the greatest difference
between amateur golf and great amateur golf is short game and putting.
The greatest difference between top amateur golf and professional golf
is short game and putting. The greatest difference between professional
golf and major winners in professional golf is short game and putting.
With that in mind, T's Golf Academy was determined to provide the best
possible short game practice facility in the area. Meet Our Instructors
